Business Cards

Our first business card workshop was so much fun and such a success we've decided to offer it again!

This workshop will teach the basics of letterpress typesetting and printing, participants will come away with 50 business cards of their own design printed in one-color on fine cotton paper.

After choosing from our collection of typefaces, participants will set type into lines and lock-up the collection of lines into the press. Once the press is inked the cards are printed manually, one at a time with each pull of the handle. Although we call it a "business card workshop," participants could print any 2" x 3.5" design, including a calendar!

This workshop will be taught by Brian Stuparyk, who received his MFA in print media from Cranbrook Academy of Art. He is an adjunct professor at Northern Kentucky University, where he spent the past year as interim printmaking area coordinator.

The cost of this workshop is set at a $90 and will be limited to five participants.

All levels of experience are welcome!
